Neighbour wanted some for a garden shed base a couple of weeks ago, local mixing plant @5miles away wanted £235 for part load, he went online and found a company that would do it for £180 so ordered that, 8am on the Friday mixer turned up from the local guys with the part load 🤷🏻‍♂️ now how does that work

They sub it out from a buying platform, bit like boiler juice. Maddening isn’t it!

That just drives me nuts, hard enough paying for load, nevermind paying for fresh air, these charges for unused space in mixer lorry winds me up, and then the charge for using a belt lorry, feck I want to scream, 🤬 feck if I started charging for using one spanner in the packet and then put charge on for having the rest there but not using them, there wouldn't be many coming to get work done 🙈🤬🤬
