Just been billed labour and parts for a 100hr service on my JCB handler. A quick greasing, waxing the boom and blow out air filters. 200 quid before VAT.
Does this happen much? It's such a pointless service I wouldn't have booked it if I knew. I thought they would change the hydraulic filter during it as the pump has been squealing from new if the oil is cold!
JD service on the other hand is a bit more comprehensive and the labour is free.
Is it down to individual dealers or the manufacturers as to who pays what?
