The Jackie Stewart Classic event is on at Thirlestane Castle, Lauder. This was yesterday but it is on today, too.
Lots of classic and vintage cars, lots of racing cars, lots of noise and lots of people.

fantastic collection of Jackie Stewart's racing cars - including 3 of his Tyrell's. JYS was there himself - driving one of his cars in a sprint display with many other racers. Event was mainly to raise money for Race for Dementia research - JYS's wife suffers from dementia.

All good fun and a lovely day. I thought it was too windy to wear a hat - and it was dull anyway. Wind died down, sun came out and I burned my bonce - ouchaa.

Two days, 7 games, 14 hours of toy soldiers. I didn't do very well but it was fun. Very much more competitive than normal. I won three, lost 4, so ended up around the middle. Will try harder next time.

My wife try’s every few years to talk me into a caravan as she knows she has no chance of getting me camping. My answer is always the same. A holiday in my opinion shouldn’t involve wheeling your own poop around a field

Stay on a 5* site in France. I have never seen facilities like it.
