Combinables Price Tracker

The alternative view is it was the Russians who killed 1000s of Ukrainians on their own soil by funding, encouraging, fermenting, giving weapons to and training the separatists within Ukraine purely for Russias own ends.
That really is what we (you, me, “the West”, our politicians) turned a blind eye to and hoped wasn’t happening for far too long. That is what we should have taken notice of. The warning signs have been there for a long time.

Why post a screenshot and not a proper link to your reference?

I don’t deny that the risk of nuclear war is higher now than it ever has been in my whole lifetime. However I do also believe that if we ”the West” turn our backs on Ukraine that risk would only rise even higher.
Russia is the main problem, they don’t like the fact that very few countries wish to be under their “sphere of influence” (mainly because those countries are fully aware of what that means in reality). Personally I can’t blame them given the history of the last century.
Is ”the West“ perfect, no far from it. But I know that I am glad I was born here and not there.

Get real, and dont be an apologist for Putin.
Ukraine was granted its soverignty, and if a small number in donbas etc didnt like it, they should have gone to russia. They didnt they chose to stay, and then start fighting, assisted by putin!
When putin invaded he claimed 2 reasons, that ukraines pm was a nazi! And the risk posed by NATO.... lets see, Zolenski is jewish, so highly unlikely to be a nazi, and 2 invading ukraine and taking the country will mean NATO is abutting russia! Both were clearly bull as neither stack up at all.
Lets keep this thread on track now, please, and less if the putin propoganda rubbish, thanks.

Might be a bit of a problem as Ukraine's rail tracks width is 4ft 11inches wide & Turkey's 4ft 8 inches so there will be an awful lot of unloading & loading again of grain I would imagine.

i think they are on about using ships in this plan.
not sure they can train it to turkey 🤔🤷🏼‍♂️😜 unless they have built a tunnel under the Black Sea.
You could be confusing the situation where the train tracks don’t match in Poland.

Thought the Black sea route couldn't be used because of possible mines, if they use the sea route from Ukraine why do they need Turkey's involvement in Istanbul?
Not much joined up thinking on this map.

Turkey controls the Bosphorus as per the Montreux convention. Fascinating history and a key part of Turkey’s global influence.
Just not sure how this is new news, if the ships would still need to be loaded in Ukraine wasn't Turkey already prepared to let any loaded grain ships through to the med or are they now to be unloaded at Istanbul & reloaded again onto other ships

Futures up 8 so far today
The market is not responding to possible Ukraine exports

although Russia is exporting Ukrainian grain

reports of Ukrainian farmers not being prepared to harvest grain in Russian occupied areas
Will Russia have enough operational harvesters for its own and occupied territories harvest

yield reports in USA are in the 20 to 40 bushel usually 40 to 70 bushels

weather in northern areas of the USA not helping crops produce top yields

still dry in many wheat growing areas

see what the USA reports tomorrow
