ScotGov survey invite - Testing Actions for Sustainable Farming

Dear Sir/Madam,

As a current Rural Payments customer, we would like to invite you to participate in short, paid survey to help shape the future of agriculture in Scotland and inform future policy. This short questionnaire, for which you will receive £50 participation fee for completing, is a series of multiple choice questions. These questions relate to your agricultural business and what, if any, sustainable farming practices are in place within the business.
This survey is part of the National Test Programme, which launched in April with funding for conducting Carbon Audits and Soil Analysis. It is designed to help us understand current awareness, knowledge and practices in relation to sustainable and regenerative agriculture. This will help inform future policy and service design in the agricultural sector.

The survey is being shared with farmers and crofters across Scotland as we want to hear from businesses in every part of the country, of all sizes and all stages of the sustainable farming journey. Even if your current awareness or knowledge is low, this survey is for you and your answers are important.

You will receive your £50 participation fee three weeks after the survey has been completed. This participation fee will be deposited in the bank account linked to your Business Reference Number (BRN).

Once you have agreed to participate, you will then be sent a link to the survey on the morning of the 7th of July 2022 with instructions on how to complete and submit the survey. Please check your spam/junk folders as well as your inbox for the survey email.
