    Collecting grass off waste land

I usually flail mow some roughing industrial land approx 40acres. I haven’t done it for a couple of years and now they are asking if I can do it and collect the grass to be disposed of on site. (Presume it is to promote wild flowers etc). I wouldn’t like to mow it with a normal mowing machine...

    Herbst mini Low loader tyres

Original tyres are getting hard to source and I think these will fit. Seem reasonably priced but not heard of tvs eurogrip tyres before. Anyone had any experience with them? Trailer isn’t used much so worth a punt?

Why aren't modern tractors fitted with

I have got a camera instead of a mirror on a tm that’s used for hedge cutting. It’s handy to see down by the wheel and less likely to get hit than a mirror as it’s smaller. If it does the camera is only £15 off ebay to swap so cheaper and just as easy as a mirror.

    Tractor Tyres

I got Nokias tri2 on a hedgecutting tractor. Done around 6000hrs mainly road work and are about 50% worn. Grip ok in the dry but not the best in mud as they clog up.

Got a dewalt one due to having other tools. I would stick with dewalt due to battery situation.

    Deutz DX120

Did a selector on my old dx86 about 20yrs ago. Didnt have to split the tractor got in through the side. The selector at the time was really expensive. Ended up welding it, and it lasted for at least another 15yr till I got rid of it.

    Fencing Stapler

I had my stockade gun serviced last year for the first time and it has done 24000 staples, (they have a counter on which they read when serviced). Surprising how quickly they clock up. I have got a dewalt gun as well as a backup and it doesn’t feel as nice as the stockade. I think the stockade...
