we've an Allied weigh platform in our race, we put in an extra sliding gate as well, it works ok but you've just to watch that all their feet are on the platform ... an added benefit is it can be used for other jobs, weighing feed bags/ silage bales etc.
Its been needing completely overhauled for years! I've been looking for a change for a while as well, probably going to give ilivestock a try, in my experience software updates always take much longer than they say
I’ve swapped the tractor on our kv 853 bedder from one with closed Centre to open Centre hydraulics. Is there anything I need to swap over on the bedder ?
I’ve actually bought the ransomes hydrostatic mower, so I’ll see how works once I get it home, but it’s a fraction of the price of a power pack so worth a punt. It’s got a 20hp kubota engine with a 27lt tank and oil cooler so hopefully it’ll work

It needs a proper clean first 😉 no loader which is probably a good thing for it’s age but it does have a Wilson front linkage which has been on from new

Glad to hear we’re not the only ones, I’ve wrapped 400 bales in the last couple of days so starting to get a touch frustrating!! It’s unsafe the way it works just now
Did anyone ever get a solution to this problem? The software was updated on our control box so now if the film breaks it rewinds to allow you to fit a new roll, but then when it completes the cycle it tips the bale straight off, even if it’s in the wrong position
