Toyota Land Cruiser Commercial - 1 month review

Nearly 140,000 miles so far and all going well. Truly a magnificent workhorse it is! I dread to think what I will change it for when it eventually needs replacing. Is the new generation Land Cruiser coming as a short wheel base I wonder? (Photo obviously not recent!).

Toyota Land Cruiser Commercial - 1 month review

130,000 miles and all is good! I'll have had it 5 years next March, genuinely its been fantastic. I'm not planning to change it, but I have been thinking about what I would swap it for, and haven't really come up with an answer. The one downside is the fuel economy, 30-31mpg on my annual...

I think mine are the regular Cotton Canvas type, been plenty hard wearing enough and are nice and soft now. A colleague bought the charcoal coloured tough Polycotton type for his LC and they were really nice too.

Toyota Land Cruiser Commercial - 1 month review

Good to see this thread revived! Update on the Land Cruiser in case anyone cares....now on 115,000 miles and all running well. Best vehicle I've had, looking forward to it doing many more miles. Just wish the fuel economy was a bit better (~30mpg with the BFG AT's) but in terms of what I...

Are you a bit too busy?

Why on earth should a company not decide they can let their employees have a day off in the week? Perhaps some of them are working early/late the rest of the week to get stuff done. They even had the courtesy to give their customers notice, presumably so that if someone wanted something from...

    1st Experience with Electric Car

Been looking at EV options lately, I do a lot of miles, about 30k a year and last month I spent £800-900 on diesel...absolutely crippling. I'm not sure there are any 'rugged' EV options that can deal with some off-roading? The only thing that puts me off is the battery situation (last time I...

Yes 100%. The problem seems to be supply and availability, looking on Autotrader they still look pretty few and far between. I was incredibly lucky to buy mine when I did I think. However I suspect I will be keeping mine and running it until it's dead!

Very, very pleased...no regrets at all. Just passed 80,000 miles last week, no warranty claims and only had regular service items so far. MPG long-term average is 31.2....I've had BFG All-Terrains fitted about 18 months ago which has given the economy a bit of a hit.

Stubble turnips (along with various other forage brassicas) have a specific N recommendation in RB209.

Good to see this thread reborn! I should probably do another update at some point... Currently at 60,000 miles, not had any issues or warranty claims (that’s jinxed it) having first set of front pads this weekend.

Getting field data to the agronomist

@Brisel You can publish completed field data back to the agronomist, I have a couple of clients that do this to me the day/night before I visit. Although obviously you need the completed job data being either entered in manually or coming direct from the operator using the Web App (the latter...

Winter oats not looking happy at the moment!

Almost all the winter oats I look at are looking pretty stressed, probably a combination of the cold and some herbicide/PGR. However for balance one crop I went to today, on Cotswold brash, is looking especially stressed, symptoms exactly as the OP describes - what has it had applied to it...
