Looks like a fine morning tomorrow then heavy showers in the afternoon. Hopefully get this field finished then I think that’ll probably be all I can drill. Still water stood at home on low land.
It’s a twose press with 45 degree rings in. It’s a good press only downside with it is the rings are 3m Center so the frame makes it wide on the road. But if you can get the front through the gap then the rest will go through.
I’ve used it for patch treating areas. It’s fine for small areas but I wouldn’t want to do 50 acres at 1 ton acre. It’s a slow job trying to get a decent rate on.
Ok I’ve not had that before but at a guess there will be a battery inside that maybe flat. Mine randomly looses the cal factor sometimes which is annoying got to check every morning to see if it has remembered it.
I spoke to witham at yams and they said they have a certificate from deutz to say there oil is good to use on deutz engines. I think they said they supply Sam sprayers with oil.
Sprayed beans this morning was pleased I didn’t get stuck. Drill on and 16 acre of barley in the ground this afternoon. Need plenty more drying days before I can plough anything else of my own to drill.
I had one that wouldn’t turn off completely and i took the control panel off in the cab and found it wasn’t turning the cable fully to shut the valve. Be worth a check in there.
I’ve got a big noco carnt remember the model but it was the biggest they did at the time, it starts Claas lexion so I’m happy with mine. Just have to remember to keep it charged up as it’s not quick to charge them up.
