I suspect the 500 is going to disappear in favour of the 600 series and the next version of the 300 will top out at 150hp aka 315 which will have a snoopy nose similar to the 600 for improved loader work. As far as engines goes I suspect there's practically not much differences these days.

Yeah I think I'll be going the same way as you bought a new tractor 9 years ago now and probably £120k to replace it. Okay might get £40k for trade in but I think I'd rather keep it and buy another secondhand or scrapper as you put it and keep the spare £40k in my pocket for something else ...

How often is compulsory purchase orders used for house building? I thought they were purely for infrastructure and of national interest use only?

They have to pay for the schools? I guess they can increase the value of the properties if it has a fancy new school nearby with lots of amenities and green spaces... And a road without potholes must be worth something? But totally agree about the ridiculously planning red tape 😞

I think a Claas Arion 650 would be worth a look as well... But as with all things secondhand condition is king.

I find it very hard to believe that any dealer would be forced to buy equipment. Sure there's quotas and plenty pressure to buy equipment but surely never a situation where a manufacturer just phones up a dealer to tell them about the 10 new mowers on there way and they now owe them X to be paid...
