Sorry should have mentioned it, I have already done that and the battery light does go out, even testing at the alternator it shows 12v under load, is there a sense wire that detects battery voltage and changes the alternator output?

Hi, Has anyone experienced a Manitou 627 blowing the fuse for the transmission, It seams to be a dead short as it blows almost straight away, I checked the solenoids beside the pump but dont have a wiring diagram and I'm not sure where else to check.

Yes the bulb goes out when switches off but it has an ignition feed so it would anyway, alternator is definetly charging so I’m thinking the wire must be broken to earth somewhere

Would anyone have a workshop manual for a 1978 Ford 7700, the alternator light is on in mine and the wipers arnt working is there anything common?

I have one for the 40 series but it is really unclear

Checked the alternator and it also works, sounds like a bad connection to me as well but there isn't any voltage coming out at the ecu either, do you know of anywhere I could get a wiring diagram or find out what inputs are required to make the lift work?

All powers are there and the relay is working, spools are working fine but no command coming to solenoids on lift

I have a 7840 that the gear solenoid and lift solenoid valves r sticking intermitently and I want to clean them but unsure how to dismantle and what solvent to use?

Have tried all that, checked wiring etc., they are going up on the panel and its holding the gear on the panel just no movement just like the clutch is depressed, the only thing I have found is that solenoid num 3 has 0.15 volts with ignition on and the rest have nothing.

I was thinking that as well but I assume thats just in front of where the gear cables go in, I have checked them and they seam to be working but they other seam to switch for 1-4 and 5-8 would that be right?
