Was browsing through my ai company website last night (Progressive Genetics) and seen and seen a bull Denovo 17118 Provo and has probably the highest production EBI figures (Irish index) I've ever seen approximately + 400 litres and plus high % fat and protein
Think he is a ABS bull
Has anyone...
Didn't see much of it i had reading of Tb test in the middle of it
First few were autumn calvers between 1700 and 2000 the few i seen the rest were bit less and the usual few that struggled around 1000 and the best were over 2000
Didn't see middle of sale just the start and end
I'll check out your suggestions first to see what's available here then narrow down the preference
Thanks for putting in the time and effort
Much appreciated
Independent but does an area for Progressive genetics
Wouldn't be shy in telling them if a bull is crap
He wouldn't carry it in his pot any straws i buy he keeps for me so I've no pot to maintain
Good man at his job sound bloke
My ai man has a great knowledge and love for breeding cows he will make recommendations to me as well
Hasn't sent me wrong yet
She is in calf to VH Praser viking genetics
Solid long life cows
Easy care as possible
Small herd so not that much walking when on grass
Autumn block calving is the aim
White water contract at the moment
She's got plenty of width
Main attraction for me is fertility
Very consistent calving through the generations
I was thinking of using Ganseys Antartica a Dutch bull
Have a few calves by him puts body conditions on has good fertility and decent milk in first few heifers FR6106 on ICBF
