We normally bale everything but considering chopping some as little demand. Choping wheat then ploughing for winter barley afterwards on light land. And chopping wheat for minting stubble turnips on heavy land. Any advice welcome

Spoke to a chap yesterday and he was charging £50 hour for bale carting with a big tractor and trailer.

I've put 80kg on n on ours. Its after good crop of stubble turnips. Had much in previous years too. Is that enough or to much. I'm still learning.lol

Been offered 320 barley now and 325 wheat may. Shropshire. Is that about right.

I hear lambs were back in Drayton. I know are ewes were back £25.

What is feed barley x farm north Midlands. Got a bit spare.

Is that for natives or just clean. They quoted me either 405/408 for clean.

Some of these Eastern European worker work very hard and do a good job. Put us lot to shame. Not all the same but I know a few people who employ both on peice rate. English struggle to get £200 week but best Eastern European can be £800 plus a week.

Is that for wheat or barley?
