Are their any other zero till drills (with a similar tine as used on the Amazone Condor drill) available in the uk?

Here at Claydon we now have a Low Disturbance Kit as an option for our Hybrid drills which is designed to give farmers flexibility and stop the need for having to invest in a separate 'low disturbance' drill because most want to keep their standard set up with the front tine to be able to...

Hi all, not one mention of a straw harrow?? Not sure if they're now deemed as 'un-cool' on here but in my mind they are an essential tool for keeping the slug population down in osr stubbles. It is also a very good tool at encouraging a weed chit with that lovely, friable osr top soil and long...

If you're looking to move more soil than a straw harrow but less soil than a shallow disc...... The Claydon Terrastar is a cracking tool.

    Claydon drill settings

Hi @CJS this depends on which model of Sulky you have and whether you have the speed increasing kit. I'm guessing if its a 3m SR Drill then you have the newer Sulky with the RDS Ultron control box and the speed increasing kit. When you start the Ultron its will go to 35, you need to reduce...

    OSR Drilling 2019

@JCfarmer as @Brisel said there are 2 different ways that people can drill OSR and other small seeds with a Claydon. The 7 Inch A Share and Splitter Boot is best for heavy land because it will ensure the seed is kept on the bank and you wont loose any seed too deep (Probably 70% of our...

    2019 Drilling Photos

Claydon were up and running yesterday with a customer in Norfolk drilling OSR into grass as an experiment to see if such early establishment will help get the crop away from flea beetle. The idea is that they will graze it with sheep it it gets too established.... I'll keep you posted!
