I think around here Aberdeenshire it 28/30 an hour , own trailer and tractor and fuel , I would rather do it per hour with a small trailer as it's not ur fault there is no room

Winter starts the day after Keith show ok afraid , mild the day but lots of rain , forecast shows much cooler temperatures for the rest of the week and a much bigger difference between night and day temperatures

Done it and no problems , we kept grazing the same hill field and got rid of them completely , there's no doubt in my mind some of the ewes had 2/3 visits

We grazed breeding ewes on a field that was thick with it and didn't have any losses

Put sheep on and hard graze it in spring time , has to be when the plant is just shooting in my mind

Did all grazings on Friday , plenty moisture in the ground now will work a treat

Good cattle are always a good trade , I would be tempted to feed them tatties at the moment as they are cheap as chips but also work them onto adlib barley over the next month and a half or so .

It would amaze u how well it works , a small handful , I told my neighbor this not long ago when he was speaking about a calf that wouldn't suck , he laughed at me . Phoned back two days later saying it had worked

U will probably find u are insured within a certain distance of the main holding 3 mile radius for example , I was the same when I worked on a sheep farm , probably far quicker than doing it with a jeep ect just because it easier to get on and off ect
