John Deere 6000 2wd front 8 stud wheels possibly rears too

Hi all, I’m after a pair of front 8 stud 2wd John Deere front wheels ideally with tyres to suit 6000/6010/6020 series. Anything considered; at sensible money, can get them fetched from most places. 13.6/38 or 16.9/34 rears would be good too; mine has come on turfs. Thanks.

    What headstock is this?

It would be worth checking if it’s a quicke no.3 home made adaptor, it looks a similar fit to them brackets.

John deere 6600 no resistance going into park.

Not really, they pivot over nicely, make sure throttle and clutch cable and pto and hitch cable are disconnected, remove big bolts under the cab Matt few other odds and sods, couple of strong bars in the pivot holes and then we tilted it over with a block and tackle and loader tractor easy enough.

John deere 6600 no resistance going into park.

Hi access and visibility was very poor without the cab tilted, we didn’t even try and look, just tilted the cab and then removed the side casing of the housing that has the levers/roll pins in, this was easier with one person on top of the gearbox casting and one underneath, we then doubled all...

    Quicke loader

Always one to admit when I’m wrong, I did mean the us vs the Dm I miss read your post, I agree on the Dm being the wide beam version!

    Quicke loader

There are some wide boom models. Still on a us fitting. Seen them and had them.

    JD 5400/Explorer 80 or MF 3065

I think the massy would be a stronger built tractor, just my opinion, I’ve owned a jd5400& a same explorer albeit a 90 model, both seemed a far lighter duty machine than the 3065 a friend had. If you were lucky enough to drop on a John Deere 6200 at sensible money then I think in that size of...

John Deere 5090m any opinions or advice

Thanks guys, pretty much the conclusion I’ve come to myself now! Doesn’t seem a bad tractor but definitely seems weak compared to 6000 etc...

John Deere 5090m any opinions or advice

Hi all, I’m looking at buying a used John Deere 5090m it’s on 5000hours mainly on a feeder and yard work. No loader. It all seems sound but obviously I’m aware they are a much cheaper built tractor than the 6000 series we are used to. Anyone think good or bad of this range? Thanks

    Case 895

Have you checked the clutch pedal safety switch? Sometimes can have a wire come off it also.
