    QMS on halal slaughter

I was aware of some of the strange things that can be found on the menus in Chinese restaurants; duck's feet, chickens' beaks, fish's heads, and even fish internals, not to mention sea slugs. The list must be somewhat endless but considering some of the great famines that China had to pass...

    QMS on halal slaughter

Some time ago my wife, Margaret, watched a TV program on people in the Far East (China?) eating cats and dogs. Live dogs were beaten with rods before dispatch to tenderise the meat and live cats were thrown into boiling water to ease the removal of their fur. Margaret said it was horrendous to...

    QMS on halal slaughter

The guy concerned also said that they would see TB infected parts, that they just cut out and the rest of the beast was fed forward into the general food chain. Wally later was conscripted into the Britsh Army and worked in an other form of slaughter house in North Africa.

    QMS on halal slaughter

I once worked along side ex military man who, as a boy, worked in a slaughterhouse and he said that they used a captive bolt gun, followed by rod rattled around in the brainbox,

    QMS on halal slaughter

As a somewhat squeamish townie, I have just watched the Chinese stunning of donkeys with a sledgehammer, Mongolian sheep slaughter, and a single halal slaughter of a sheep. From what I have observed, bleeding out can be one of the kindest ways of killing a beast but the sheer volume of stock...

Grant that God would give us the wisdom and sensitivity to know when to intervene and the patience to wait upon those who are struggling against the slings and arrows of everyday farming battles and burdens.

It's all down to you bluddy farmers; you go praying for rain and are never specific on location and ammount. If a chicken farmer was found dead in his henshed, would the police automatically suspect foul play?

Thanks for the good wishes. Easy solution ...... just backed off from consuming what I already knew was bad for me but 53 years ago I was like twelve-gauge with a hair trigger and a faulty safety catch; all of which took me to some very dark places and hurt many others.

I recently had a couple of tough days with brain fog, fatigue, and irritability but realised that wheat, gluten, alcohol, and some e-numbers had been allowed to slip past my normally tight dietary controls. Things were not helped by acute lack of exercise, due to arthritic knees and a ruptured...

That's an interesting post brother. Much of what is presently being posted appears in my day-to-day activities but I was lucky to discover, many years ago, that the magnification of such things is influenced by my diet. Caffeine, alcohol, gluten, and some additives all increase my sensitivity...

Many years ago, my young nephew walked out and hung himself on a building site at night. One of Dad's sisters topped herself when I was but a lad and Dad made several attempts over the years. Each time I hear of folks clocking off early my heart sinks and I wonder ...... 'For feck's sake...
