I have this problem with one of my radios sometimes, found it has a reset button. On mine you detach the front and there is a small white button, need a small nail to press it in, pop front back on and it works again.
I do some maize game covers on some stoney land, find double working it with Sumo trio gives good results, plenty of depth to get rid of stones and nice bit of tilth for maize drill to work into.
Not to bad to add extra spools, extra slice, longer bolts and some flexi pipes. I found INTA Trac UK really helpful, did it with all second hand bits off them on a 785XL.
Mine packed up at about 20000 acres ish on 8400. You can bypass them by doing away with solenoids and the beauty of the older ones are the manual locks. New 9400 reverse drive are fully electric good while it works but will be a big problem when it doesn't.
I haven't bought an extended warranty since but I am glad agco put 2 years on 824 that I bought felt like I got my 5k back and then some! No wonder 820's are going up in value.
Full spec with everything apart from auto steer ( but with topcon lightbar guidance) and 5 year warranty 710/600 Trelleborgs £94000. Best tractor I've run but traded it in thinking newer, bigger faster was better! I now know they aren't!
I bought a new Fendt 820 in 2011 and paid £5000 extra for extended warranty, in 6000 hrs it had 1 sensor costing around £235 under warranty!Guess the rest went towards fixing your Fergy [emoji23]
+1 there wouldn't be any Claas gear here if it wasn't for Mick sold me first Claas mower when I was 21 and all other reps thought I was a dreamer. Always straight forward to deal with.
