Best way too get insurance for a young driver.

I live in Donegal. I do remember when I bought my first car in 1994 (in NI)I wanted a 205 but ended up with a 309 as the insurance was cheaper, I nearly bought a Nissan Bluebird as they where easy to insure for some reason. Later that summer I went to Nottingham to start may sandwich placement...

Best way too get insurance for a young driver.

Try looking at a Seat Ibiza ( basically the same car)or a Clio. When my daughter was looking at cars I got a quote for 1.4 Ibiza and ut was considerably cheaper than a 1.0 polo, I thinks its that they are not as popular amongst the 18 year old boy racers. She ended up with a fiat 500 which isn't...

Do you have Revolut on the uk, It was the cheapest for my daughter on a Fiat 500, by quite a bit, she has to plug a box into the lighter plug , all done through there app. It can also make a difference if they have been driving for a year as a named driver

Ewe lambs prolapsing after they lamb

I found that I was having to cull to many of them after the first lambing, with either mastitis, prolapse and some struggled to get back into condition. Some people would suggest you get as many lambs from them has they stay in the flock for longer.

Ewe lambs prolapsing after they lamb

I used to get in ewe lambs about a week or 2 after lambing, it was always one that had a hard lambing. They are always a struggle to catch out in the field. Stopped lambing ewe lambs last year, to many issues and not worth the hassle.

    Air Seeders

I have just ordered a T15. They recommended a spread plate per 0.5m to go on a set of short discs. I phoned them up and the lady spoke perfect English, so they should be able to advise you. I ordered mine through Clever agri here in Ireland, it was a bit more expensive but I thought if I needed...

Glyphosate ban on European milling oats

We are not allowed to use pre harvest glyphosate on our malting barley here in Ireland. A lot had to go for feed last year because of a lot of secondary tillers and had to be sprayed off.

    AD maize rents

Reading through all these threads, has British/English government not put a cap on the SFI budget? Ireland got into a mess with a nitrates grant scheme in 2006 which cost the government billions as they had underestimated the amount of applications. Now every scheme in Ireland has allocated...

    Drill filler

If your hopper is big enough surely this is the safest way to empty seed bags unless you want to reuse them.

Livestock trailer as a meal store

Surely if your willing to pay €3300 for a container a proper meal bin won't cost much more, even less if you keep an eye on done deal. 7 jfc bins will cost you about €2500

    Stubble Turnips

I put a few kgs of red clover in along with my forage rape/leafy turnip, the last picture is later sown after oats, I don't think I will spray them off, it will add to the diversity of the mix

    Vw golf bluemotion 1.6 diesel

My wife has had 3 golf 1.6 tdi the last one was a 2017. Never gave her any problems. Ran them to about 120000 miles. Got about high 50s mpg. She recently changed to 1.0l petrol A3, not as efficient but nice to drive.
