    Open Field and cmg

Likewise no skin in the game, but the evidence - shown by them losing multiple prestigious partnerships- Warburtons...Camgrain...Aberdeen Grain....Woldgrain......CMG....- suggests it's perhaps the results of the current Openfield top table focussed for years on having their snouts so deep in...

    Open Field and cmg

Well at least the Execs at Openfield have the commercially valuable & prestigous Warburtons supply contract to help wipe away their continuing well remunerated tears at losing CMG...oh, hang on....

    Banana shortage

Surely, having taken back control we can grow them right here in Brexshitannia - vast plantations of them on them sunlit uplands....proper Inglish bananas for Inglish people! .....and it would make a change from the day-in day-out diet of Unicorn & turnip stew....;)

    Swallows 2024

Bringing back memories of the strap-line of a Club 18-30 holiday ad; '...one swallow doesn't make a summer...' Happy days....

Good idea or just more busybody control freaks?

Certainly not saying there isn't an issue which needs addressing but; As ever, God is in the detail...and (lights blue touch paper) as ever God is missing.... Talk to me about the keepers of budgies and other caged exotica with wings....pigeons - both racing and wild- which, along with other...

Is the time right for dripping-cooked crisps?

I can see there being a good market for them but perhaps look in terms of them being in the snack range of my 'Fat gluttonous B@stard' brand range; Dairy products with added fat.....Meat with a layer of extra cholesterol....... Can't wait to punt this in the Dragons' Den:unsure:

Crew cab pickups to be taxed as cars from July

It all depends on the Vehicle Type designation as determined by the manufacturer when they market a vehicle in the UK; If you check your MOT it will show your vehicle as either type N or M; Any vehicle classed as type N is designated a commercial vehicle for the purpose of max legal speeds; ie...

Crew cab pickups to be taxed as cars from July

So will this change by HMRC also mean the whole vehicle type N/M commercial/Car confusion is also simplified ie Car legal speed limits will apply?

    Pickup speed limits

Legal max speeds - outside of other set 20-30-40 mph limit areas; single lane car 60mph./commercial van 50mph dual carriageway car 70mph./commercial van 60mph Motorway car 70mph /commercial van 70mph

    Pickup speed limits

Check the MOT certificate - it gives a vehicle type the manufacturer has registered it with the DVSA - depending on this it will be either 'N1' for commercial van/vehicle or 'M1' for car - this is the crucial bit from a legal perspective as to what speed limit applies.

    Sustainable Aviation fuel

...time of the Preacher... Time of the Preacher! Just keep an eye out for them Jerry Grogan types.....but I don't need to tell you that, do I Ronnie?

    Sustainable Aviation fuel

I think you are slightly misguided in your comments; It is very rare that sewage sludge goes into rivers or seas as part of any disposal process- as against the abhorrent current reality of excess load in the sewer networks resulting in raw sewage run-off/discharges to rivers/seas prior to it...

    Doddie Weir: farming

At a funeral I heard it said that it's not the date at the start or the end of a person's life that's the most important thing but what they've done in the dash in-between; So very true for Doddie and hopefully some comfort that his huge legacy will continue to keep the memory alive long, long...

    Solid fuel rayburn

For what it's worth, my experience of Rayburns mirrors the comments above of those trying to dissuade you. I personally would look at alternatives, even if it means additional , unplanned for investment.

    Fertiliser Price Tracker

Based on their financial analysis, CF will do what's best for their shareholders; Wether that's taking yet more of our tax payer's money from HMG before walking away or just continuing to walk away. Either way huge numbers of businesses across many sectors in the UK will still be looking at...
