I might try the Clipex depending on the price. Can’t see any promises on the site and that always pisses me off. If you want to sell things step one is telling people how much it is.
Hi. I am sick fed up for putting in wooden posts and them rotting at ground level working 10 year. Strainers are proving to be a nightmare.
Thinking about using metal posts and possibly strainers. I have a source for steel pipe I can use for strainers but open to ideas as it may be better...
The belts are the same as the ones I have on my machine. Oddly the small C39 on the parts manual is a C40 on mine and it’s crazy tight. So tight that you can’t get it on without jamming the pullys together. They actually need to mesh to get them on and are really tight at that.
Hi,
I have a used Joskin TR555 CH6 topper that just won’t stop eating belts. I think the belts might be the wrong type but struggle to find info on what should be on it rather than what was fitted when I bought it. I just replaced like for like but they seem a tad tight and I feel like the...
I have got it sorted. Thanks for the info.
if anyone ever had the same issue it’s an ADR 6 stud axle. Plane head on the inside, no anti rotation cut or anything. 20mm diameter on the splined grip section. Length of spline and threads is 50mm.
Bit of a random question but hopefully somebody can help. I have a bit of an issue with the treads on a few of the studs on my old Griffith drop side trailer. I can’t really have it in bits for ages waiting on parts so was hoping somebody could identify the correct studs so I can order them and...
I often slightly offset the stays to the side with the netting. I second the don’t put the stapes in to hard and tie it off to the net. You are usually joining another net to it so make sure you connect both to the same side so the pull equally. If it’s a gate post or something without another...
Had a read through this thread. Wondering if anyone has any good deals about 5 years on. I’m wondering about a new machine as second hand seems pretty close to new price wise. Seem to hold their cash so new seems the way.
How would that stack up cash wise. I’d say I only have about 40-60 acres that might work for that. I wonder if you’d just be turning money and paying contractors without really making anything. I’d have to do a bit of work to sorta few things and I imagine yields might not be amazing till I get...
Being fair to myself my first wee girl was born about then, covid hit, I changed jobs and we had a death on the family so my focus was not really on the farm much.
