Are mirror guards not illegal? There is something in the back of my mind that the plastic is designed to shatter if it hits an object. Admittedly it would need to be an extremely tall person to get clobbered by a tractor mirror but still....
Not sure what type of drawbar the poster has on his 8770, but I think Scharmuller do a longer drawbar insert which may suit.
We have a Dromone ball on the T7.245
My brothers Torro was on the pick up hitch of a Fendt and NH. Because of the incline it wore on the front of there hitch ring but lasted a good many seasons doing 300-400 acres/year. The Jumbo is on a ball and spoon and is much snugger without the hitch hop but that comes at a € cost.
The change in pitch of the wagon drawbar as you raise and lower it from road to field will not be ideal on a drawbar pin. It is better suited to the point on a pick hitch hook. The K80 is the optimum in this regard
The 700 Gen 7 has the slightly larger displacement Core engine and Vario Drive which is a completely different transmission setup. The Q285 test is in the June issue of Profi which is out in three weeks or so.
Dave Bavistock at PHR Engineering is your man. Only issue is that parts for the ZF transmission are now getting hard to find as they have been discontinued.
