Had a 2008 5455 do similar a few years back. If it’s the same issue, I think it was as simple as replacing a sensor, somewhere under the right hand side of the cab? Can’t quite remember exactly as it’s a few years back, sorry. Might help narrow it down for you at least.

As above. Sulphate will leach just like nitrate. Depends on your sulphur source, ammonium sulphate will act quicker and is more suited for “little & often” application. Polysulphate for example supposedly breaks down over 50-60 days, purely due to the physical hardness of the product. I think...
