We have one that has an electricity supply/consumer unit which goes to two poly tunnels. Council classed the container as temporary and only wanted planning for the tunnels.
Had a pair of Dunlop Puraforts that split at the heel. 6 months old. Manufacturer said it was either a chemical - TOES splashed with iodene - or lack of cleaning - not the case at all. What total rubbish. Last pair of Dunlops I will ever buy.
100% - ours (we have 2 150ft) are in a pretty exposed location. They tend to snake and it freaks me out! Withstood 75mph but I worry every time winds are forecast. That is the biggest downside for me.
Yes. I have had to ring up and see what the hold up was in the past. I was just thinking today that I need to order some tags ready for some ewe lambs when i get them in next week but I left it too late as they always take two weeks.
I just made this frame. Basically four bits of small box for the legs welded to a horizontal bar which sits on top of the hurdle an two bits of gravel board bolted accross the legs.
£1.63060 here with Wave (Anglia Water). I been checking all our figures as just had a bill for £800 from a trough that usually costs £15. Didn't notice the leak because most of the field has been under(rain)water since last year.
Lincs County Council are on my case instantly if I so much as drop a bale on the footpath - mainly due to the militant walkers around here. Its not the case when the boot is on the other foot, LCC had to close a path as the small wooden footbridge needed replacing and it took them 8 months to...
We had the same issues with a Masterclip set. They replaced the batteries but the replacements didn't even last as long as the originals. Chucked it and bought a 'Blade' which takes Makita batteries. Far better.
I had a conversation with Defra about this last week pointed out that the £90 Biobest tests could be £30 from MVFs. I also got my attestation off the back of the farm visit from the welfare grant. Costing me £25 but as the vet visit was in July it is back dated so £25 for 6 months!
I did this yesterday - took a gamble to load up some sheep in the field and drive over the owners lawn rather than load on the guys drive as I didn't want to make a mess on his nice gravel. Got stuck on the lawn and ended up unloading and doing both. I my defence the lawn felt like it should...
I have a 6 & 1/2 acre bit of winter grazing with 25 ewes on from a fortnight ago. I expect them to say there until scanning which 2 weeks before Christmas. As Derrick says - get them on it!
Two bits of land close to me and within 500m of each other have just got pp for this. One is already open and whatever time I go by, dark or not, there are people prancing around with various hounds. There has been so much interest locally in both that I wonder if I should follow suit.
