We’ve just had one of these on the farm. They paid £2000 for the month, plus a crop loss claim and agents fees. Entry to the field straight from the road. Insist they put trackway down and they’ll return the field to how it was minus the growing crop.
I’ve both the 3 1/2 inch and the 1 inch. The 31/2 inch ones seem to be squeezing wet soil into them. They’re brand new coulters which seems strange. I’ve been running the fan high but still seems to plug the coulters. Obviously the conditions have been far from perfect.
I’ve recently purchased a sprinter. It’s currently on Dutch openers but I’m finding when the soils wet we’re getting lots of blocked coulters. Very annoying! Are the bourgault any better?
