Evening.
After some 18x38 wheels or a pair of 520 85 38 (20.8x38) complete with 8 stud wheels for a new Holland but others might fit.
Anything available?
Thanks.
Evening,
Does anyone know the required rim size for the tyre 520/85/38. Been told 15x38 then one says 18x38. Not sure which is the one needed for these size tyres.
Thanks
Yeah that’s what I thought. Buy a few foot of hardox and cut to the same as the tines or slightly narrower and then can weld underside to a point and should help with the wear. The buckrake is fairly expensive as it’s 14’ fold out push off so don’t want to start having to put new tines on it...
I was wondering about getting some
Bucket edge and cutting it to fit under each tine and welding it on the underside of the tines or so to just save the wear.
Has anyone welded wear parts on the ends of the buckrake tines so they don’t wear the tine its self. Only thinking of putting a small wear strip of hardox under the tine to just stop them getting any further back. Is there any where what does tips or bits for the hardox tines on like allbut...
Yeah this one automatically tensions the bed chains on 4 rams behind the threaded bolts. I’m just trying to gauge if the beds wear out or if they are good as it’s a 2007 machine etc
Evening,
what’s peoples thoughts on Samson flex muck spreaders? Are the floors single skin or double skin as been told it’s a double layer of metal in the floors on these. How do people find them for reliability over other brands etc?
Thanks
I’m just doing my home work as there’s a lot of Deere choppers getting sold round here and there must be a reason for it. Whether it’s price, resale, backup etc etc. I’d like to stick with the krone but the deal jd might put on the table might be too good to say no to but the krone does...
Are you concerned that with them being like pushed to get them in that the trade in value won’t be as good if you want to go back to a claas or krone for example? I’m concerned that the deal to get me out of a krone to a Deere will be good and look better on paper but if I don’t get on with the...
There isn’t any class choppers round here any more. All gone to krone or John Deere. Claas don’t seem to compete on the job here now. Everyone was claas 10 years since and now if there was 20 choppers round here there is only 4 left and one of them has been traded in for a JD 8600 this time.
Afternoon,
How are everyone finding the jd choppers now? Anyone had one and traded it for another brand? Resale value good etc etc? Pricing it all ways round, with krone at the min and would like another but just got to look at all options on the table. jd seem to be taking over the world round...
