Had the mulcher on NH 8360 with front pto never gave me an ounce of bother was around 150 hp now on case mxm 175 with zuideberg flying for two seasons now lots of problems.

Heavy rushes mostly I presume there is a shear bolt . Do the belts provide some slippage?

How did he weld it up ? Might be an option (last resort) the topper has a gearbox and belt driven so I presume the belts protect it along with overrun clutch

Thanks when I get it opened up I'll try that any one else using a mulcher on the front have these problems. It's a McConnell 2800 magnum. Any advice would be great thanks . Dont want to revert to running it on the back . A lot easier to usurp front .

Solenoid is new pump is new . Pack may be gone haven't had to open it yet

Yes 99% sure this occurs when oil is hot .

Having problems with zuideberg linkage n pto running a mulcher on the front . PTO stopped working had it repaired n only went for a short while . New pumps and pack went in . Had it repaired again . New pack . Only worked for a day . Brought it back to repair guy and could find nothing wrong...
