We have a tunnel and a bridge, both awkward for moving kit from one side of the farm to the other but invaluable really and we couldn't manage without them.
We could however, happily manage without the motorway - how long before that is redundant ??
That's all incredibly helpful thank you. We have about 4 bars of signal with our router balanced "temporarily" : ) on the attic window sill and are pretty pleased really but the signal does occasionally drop, and i'm just plain greedy always wanting better!
I guess that the antenna might incur...
Did you ever try one of these antennae?
I have recently been using a Huawei B593-22 with some success. BT landline was awful for broadband at about 0.3 mbps and now we get between 6 and 20 mbps with the router in the attic window and a 4G EE sim card in it. But wondered about putting an...
Do you have any pictures of rubber depth wheels? I have seen them as an option but never seen a pic.
Mostly we find that the drill "fires" the seed into the moist soil at the bottom of the tine groove and not much needs firming in so pretty happy with what we've got.
We try to roll after...
We have a Dale Eco drill, works fine here on a range of soil types.
Like all drills, the heavier the soil type, the more correct conditions need to be to make a nice job.
If it's any help that is our dilemma too and we're not on marsh ground. Late september drilling goes a bloody treat but chemical goes onto dry land and runs out of steam early. October drilling is a bit of a gamble (esp this year) and crops can't compete with blackgrass or slugs.
More spring...
We've had OSR pretty badly affected after Atlantis - won't be using it again. Only a fraction of the rape actually came to a full plant after we had patch sprayed WW the previous spring followed by a dry spring and summer. Heavy ground was the worst affected with some brash hardly affected.
We...
Yes, I suppose so. We've already made a small simple affair to stop the boom end touching the ground but are thinking of a bigger type that will keep the boom end up to almost correct height when the ground is a bit uneven.
On the topic of best spraying practises for pre ems, has anyone any experience of using a tail type arrangement on the end of each boom (either a small wheel on a stick or an upside down walking stick with the handle or wheel to brush the ground on uneven ground) of maybe 40cms long to stop...
