So frustrated. Did a fec count, high count, gave them Zolvix drench, still scouring, did fec again, low count. On a big flush of grass. They’re just not doing and look pot bellied. Any ideas please. 🙏🏻
I’ve just burnt off and dd permanent grass seed 3 days ago. As an after thought, to graze a few ram lambs in the winter, can I broadcast rape at a quarter rate to boost protein? What are people’s view on this please? Otherwise, are there any other suggestions. Thanks all.
My Texels are barely a month old and I notice a few crusty ears. The ewes were bolus’d after Christmas so I thought the lambs would be supplied through the milk but that isn’t the case. Whet do you good folk find is the best multi bit drench? No copper
Get some antibiotics and soak it in warm water and epsom salts. If you haven't got epsom salt, normal salt will do but put it nice and strong and give it half hour to soak. Miracle cure for things like that.
I've got 235 big square wraps for sale. All nice stuff made in early June. Mostly temporary rye grass leys. How much a bale should I be asking. Let's keep it sensible please. ;)
If the lambs ears are a bit crusty, you know you have a cobalt issue. Give them 1 multi drench and bolus them and their ears will be like a teddy bear in 3 weeks.
