I was quoted 60p day and 42p night, and sadly I'm quite tempted. Recently they've been more like 72p and 48. Just done SP and they were 85p and 70p for 56000kw/yr.

I'm on the same timescale as you. Contracts up in April. Turned my nose up at what seemed a ridiculous price quote in May, only for it to double. Still a while until April, but it just seems to keep getting higher and higher.
Would it be possible to try and get a domestic electricity contract, instead of commercial. Farmhouse and cottage going through it after all, aswell as the parlour.

Does anyone alter the formula on the platemeter through the season? The manual does suggest changing it as the grass changes from vegetative to reproductive, with stem elongation. Or do you just change your understanding of the figures it provides as the season rolls on. With they're probably...
