I work 7 till 3.30 ish with 30 mins lunch break. Fridays usually finish by 3 and meet a few lads for a pint or 2. No weekends unless boss is away.
Suits me fine.
Been in a restaurant tonight in lanzarote, selling Jersey steaks at 75 euros a kilo and wagyu 140 euros a kilo. They looked excellent but I went for a cheaper option.
Once phoned a well known Claas dealer about a new tractor. By the time they got back to me I had a new valtra in the yard. I never phoned anyone twice to try and spend money with them.
I'm employed and it's not just the money that's important. My boss always thanks me every night for all I've done that day. Other perks like free firewood, free eggs and potatoes. When they get lambs and cattle killed for the freezer I always get some to take home. Little things go a long way...
It's easy to spend 50k. Me and the wife have about 52k joint income before tax, ni and pension contributions. No mortgage or rent. Nothing on tick. We can spend it all no problem. Mind she has 2 horses that eat money 😆
They absolutely thrive on this system. Never get any pneumonia. Go all winter without mucking out. Just scrape along the feed face and bed up twice a week.
