Go buy a new baler for £180k, put string round the bale and a tractor on the front and think it’s going to pay at £5.80 a bale, your neighbours having a laugh if he thinks that’s dear.
All comes down to your dealer and service support. I’m all Krone, never had a Massey. The dealer support for Krone from my local man is excellent. The Krone machines like any, have their niggles, but I’m 110% confident in my dealer.
I have recently pulled up the pump from a bore hole on some recently purchased land, the wiring had no plug on the end. There are 4 wires, green/yellow, black, brown and grey.
My initial thoughts were it must be three phase, but looking closely at the motor is says 220/230V.
Any idea how I...
In my opinion, that engine swap to the MAN has made the 900 series top of the league again.
Mine will really either be pulling one of the 8 stringers or sat on a soil stabiliser so it’s heavy pto work.
775hrs in and really pleased with it, especially when compared to the s4 936 it replaced.
942 here, using about 2l/hr AdBlue on heavy PTO work. No other issues other than the radio playing up to report.
Interestingly it’s using roughly the same diesel as the 2019 936 s4 it replaced.
Overall I’m very happy with it.
I’ve got 710-75R42 and 650-65R34 Trelleborg tyres on a 500 hr 936 and at low speeds they shake the tractor. If you have any weight on the tractor the problem is amplified and quite frankly unacceptable.
