Spare cash has got to be fairly high up on the list. Lots of things can be solved by having that liquidity to move quickly. It’s also exhausting trying to juggle bills or knowing you have a situation that could be solved with a small investment but are unable to do it.
10k an acre. Assuming you have nothing to put forward and need to borrow it all and that your not averaging over more acres puts the interest alone at £800 a year.
Equivalent to 4-8 years rent locally….
Obviously doesn’t allow for inflation eroding it as the value increases you hope

Tag needs to have both sides. Those ones you sent must’ve lost it in transport which does unfortunately happen. Leaving your farm without 2 full tags IE 4 sides will get you into trouble.
I could quite believe that. I did some maths on retailing our own and at £1 a litre I didn’t leave a huge profit if you’d borrowed money at current rates
