If the budget is of concern but still want a ‘pretty good’ welder for modest but not cheap dirt money then I can’t recommend r-tec enough. I’ve a welder and plasma cutter from them and get on great with both these tools.

I’ve got and really like r-tech kit. I also have a little esab welder for portable jobs , it was cheap and has been perfect too !
