    Eamon McVeigh Predator trailers

Anyone else delt with this guy? February 2022 I Placed an order for complete new running gear for a tri axle low loader. Axles, suspension, wheels etc. £7500 worth of parts. Some stuff wasn't in stock but I said there was no rush on it but now been 2 years and still nothing! I've asked for my...

    Big Black "Crows" Attacking Sheep

Na, after you've had to knock many a perfectly good lamb on the head because a crow has took it's tongue you find great delight in setting about a cage full of them with a pick handle

    Big Black "Crows" Attacking Sheep

I had a ladder trap on the go a few years ago, it worked well, it caught a lot of crows. then one day a big hawk / buzzard bird of pray thing got in and killed all the crows that were already in it. No crows ever went in it again after that

Idiots guide to sowing with a one pass

If you don't need to level the endings, instead of doing 4 passes with the harrow in the ground, put both your markers down, run with one marker to the fence. Now you're marking 8m in one pass instead of 4, saves a bit of time. If it's straight onto ploughing I'd level the ends with 4 runs with...

    Reduction in arable acreages

This whole insurance thing really p*sses me off. The whole industry based on gambling risk and the odds are always in favour of the house. Mine is around 8k a year for everything fully covered. And what do I see from it? They gave me a hat last year. 8 grand for a f*cking hat. Tempted just to...

Should you buy a new tractor?

Keep the one you've got and buy another 25 year old one that has reached rock bottom and is now appreciating. Be sure to have 10 grand handy incase you have to throw it in the gearbox of one of them

    Ssen pylons

It might surprise you how much 5000 ton looks when it's in one pile. That stuff is pretty dense, it won't take up as much space as you'd think. Very handy material to have on a farm, that pile would do you for the rest of time and you could always sell a bit off anyway

    Adblue dpf shite

I can't see how the dpf can do anything other than cause problems. Its just a filter in the exhaust that eventually gets clogged, it doesn't do anything for the engine other than choke it up. If an injector is bad it will be knocking or running lumpy surely? Engine has under 2000hours on it so...

    Adblue dpf shite

Yes that was my thinking. I don't know why anyone would want to fix this crap. Not sure when I'll be able to get anyone to remap it though. If I go ahead and remove the dpf but leaving all the sensors intact will it still run? Can't be any worse than running about with a neep jammed up the lum
