    AHDB live Q & A

Or the other way around - please don’t think the EA, DEFRA or planning inspector will do a handbrake turn in the gateway on first sight of a Red Tractor sign 😆🤦‍♂️

    AHDB live Q & A

The problem I see here is that the local / national government audits are happening in addition to RT. The recent OCR roll out is a good example. We haven’t had one (yet) but I am aware of others (who are RT assured) that have. The DEFRA document I posted earlier clearly explains this. So RT...

    AHDB live Q & A

With reference to protection from other inspection. You can now register being an assurance scheme member but you can still be inspected. I personally wouldn’t foresee anything changing there. https://www.nfuonline.com/media/t1hprsar/defra-ocr-q-a-v1.pdf

    AHDB live Q & A

Quite. The question here is not about the ‘vote’ or its absence, it’s about the fundamental lack of resistance to the measures themselves (before news of the ‘agreement’ broke and the sh!t hit the fan)

Red Tractor to launch new basic standard for combinable crops

Practical interpretation I don’t know, someone could ask them I suppose? As read it doesn’t indicate Dioxins being a routine (expensive) test parameter though

Same Lamborghini 80 Transmission Wind Up?

Anyone know where the shuttle neutral sensor or whatever mechanism it is on this old tractor? Post this repair (fingers crossed - was fairly hellish) it seems to not want to start on key - I assume I have pinched a wire or something? Previously you had to move shuttle through a gear and back...

Great thanks. Yes updated part requested! Good job Huw and TFF

Same Lamborghini 80 Transmission Wind Up?

Bottom plate off, covered in oil as usual but success - one very badly worn selector fork visible. Think we’ve been having some ‘intermittent’ 4wd engage and disengage here. Crows foot spanner on an extension bar job to get this off if memory serves - anyone remember what size this is as who...

Same Lamborghini 80 Transmission Wind Up?

Well, the drag is most pronounced in top on road - but she’s only 80hp after all! It definitely isn’t ‘rolling’ as it should when knocked out of gear either though, say when coasting into a yard. Plus this odd scuffing when tight turning in lower gears... Odd. I’ll get the prop off tomorrow...

Same Lamborghini 80 Transmission Wind Up?

I’ll have to give that a try tomorrow. If 4wd is out and still getting this drag then we almost certainly have issues inside the rear diff or box don’t we? I have had it on the other one years ago where pressure was dropping on that hydraulic circuit and 4wd would then engage but then you lost...

Same Lamborghini 80 Transmission Wind Up?

Yes 4wd, Fronts are better than rears. When I had it running up on blocks 4wd was definitely going in and out, solenoid is working. It’s engaged with that little fork under the plate in middle is it. I’m baffled by why there would be a ‘bit’ of drive in the lower ranges when no speed...

Great, thanks. If he’s mobile he can deal with it!

Same Lamborghini 80 Transmission Wind Up?

No, wheels rotating as you’d expect with it in / out. Solenoid working. It’s a similar symptom manoeuvring in yard though - although wind up / drag on road in a straight line is more severe than I’d expect with that.

Same Lamborghini 80 Transmission Wind Up?

Hey up, not been about for a while, hope all well! The old Lambo 80 yard tractor (40x40 box) has developed an odd fault. Running up the road it appears to be winding up in the back end somewhere - basically you can feel distinct drag and the thing labouring for no reason. Can also sense a bit...
