That's the way the switch works. Middle is off. Up is high speed down is slow speed. No sure about wiring though.

I flush out 6" lay flat by blowing water through from tanker. But my pump sits about the same height as top of tower so I can take pipe off pump and on to tanker without any spillage. After pipe is washed out, take pipe off tower n let remainding water run away

I've just laid a new concrete floor over old silage pit floor that was all rough and corroded but not cracked and unstable. It's used as general purpose shed now with the provision for possible cattle pens in future with sockets in floor. 6" over top to 8" at door way. A did wash it completely...

Use 6" layflat. Be so much quicker. I have 90 and 45 degree welded off top of pump to get angles just right for 6" layflat I use to pump to tower.
