I agree that it's better to have them too thick than too thin. But if you look where the drill has overlapped there will just be a bunch of stalks with 1 pod on them. Not many weeds though.
I think in Layman's terms, if you are looking at the PTO solenoid the diff lock solenoid is about 8 inches directly further forward from there. Just reach around and you should find it.
Selecting a different PTO speed is tricky. You will have to hold and push the selector level in the direction...
You might struggle to clean the connector on the square coil because it is facing away from you. It will help if you could loosen the 19mm nut on top of the coil. The coil could then move around to a better position to clean it. Reconnect the wire and see if it works. If not you will have to try...
If it has a PTO switch it will be a bright yellow button on the rear mudguard. To get to the back of the switch you will need to remove the lining underneath. I think there are about 8 screws holding it in place. I would expect these to be badly corroded so could well be difficult to take off...
I had a very similar problem last year and Tractortech helped solve that problem using the advice given above. The PTO had never given any indication that it wasn't going to fail to engage. I had left it for a couple of months and came back to it only to find nothing happened when I tried to...
That's a good chainsaw. I have one also and it is a great starter. It is a 20 inch bar though and I thought you were wanting a lightweight small chainsaw. It certainly is cheap though and won't let down. What size bar is your current chainsaw?

I used to swear by rat poison but now it just doesn't work as well as what it used to. I have found my budget air rifle to be very effective against rats.
Not too bad if everyone else has also been drilling at the same time. If you're the only one for miles around you will be kept busy. It's usually worse when it's just poking through.
