I didn't know about the sale where the purchased the machine from until a friend told me about a month later. With no movement on the asking price, no servicing or repair work done and no warranty given I don't think I can give them a glowing endorsement.
The spool valves on the Claas Axos are arranged side by side (horizontally) and thus the two pipes that are in use for the loader are only using one spool valve. For the empty valves the pressure is on the right (red) and the return on the left (yellow)
Thank you for all your comments. I will take the advice given and look for a good belt baler, probably a Welger 435 or a Kuhn 2160. Most of the McHale belt balers are too dear or have done too many bales for my budget of below £14K.
Currently looking to buy a S/H baler for use on straw only. Whilst many would prefer a belt baler for this purpose how are people getting on with roller type machines such as McHale/Welger/Kuhn once the straw becomes brittle.
Thoughts and advice appreciated
Thank you Drillman for the comments. I have been offered a McHale F540 fixed chamber roller baler privately, however with it being a roller type I was concerned it wouldn't be very good if the straw became brittle?
Currently looking to buy a S/H round baler for use on straw only. Has anyone had any experience using the New Holland for this purpose. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.
