Hi George and all. I have a small plant nursery site, around 2 acres, in Kent it's been established for decades. There's an old but sound asbestos clad building, 20' x 50' approximately, that I'd like to re-clad with a more suitable, modern material. I would consider this to be a repair as the...
I Re-clad some buildings around 14 years ago, I've noticed the coating on the edges of some sheets is peeling back, exposing the steel which is starting to rust, it's worse where it's exposed to full sun. Recommedations for treating these areas? I'm thinking of rubbing down and applting...
I re-clad several buildings on site around 14 years ago. I've noticed at the ends of some sheets the coating is peeling back exposing the steel which is starting to rust. It seems worst where it's exposed to full sun. Any recommendations for how to repair, thinking of just rubbing down and...
Hi, I've been told I need a transport planning consultant to prepare a report into the viability of an accessway for a 'potential' small housing development in Kent. Does anyone have any recommendations? looks very straight-forward to us but been advised to get professional opinion.
Thanks in...
Hi, I own an old agricultural barn, situated near Sittingbourne, Kent. It’ around 60’ long, 20’ wide and 16’ high. Clad in asbestos cement sheeting, in good condition and still in use. To provide additional rigidity, I require a structural steel framework to be welded up inside the building. I...
I have been made aware that SBC has failed to meet the 75% housing supply test. How does this effect new build applications?
I have a 2 acre, long established nursery site (though now redundant). It's a backland site, so just outside the development boundary, around 2/3 covered in...
Hi I have a couple of buildings I'm looking at alternative uses for, each is around 350' square'.
Located on a rural small holding, but within 10 minutes drive of local main towns.
Anyone able to give approximate potential rent/sq. foot?
Thank you
In the last year I've put up 3 Ferryman 'Tuff Tunnels', each 18' x 50', We are on an exposed, windy site, very impressed. Much stronger construction than Clovis Lande ones which have stood for 30 years!
We have a couple of acres with 3 stables and mains water, been let to the same family for over 30 years. However they are now giving up horses. Been so long since we let out to a new tenant, can anyone advise what the going rate is? We are in the Medway area of Kent.
Thanks in advance
