Well it’s coming off in the morning and they are going to see what they can do re-cost once spoken to John Deere, to be fair they replaced the other one last year on 7 year old machine at no cost, but said only side with unloading auger was at risk, obviously not!

The green paint is below the crack where the bracket steps up, obviously a weak spot as modified part doesn’t have the step.

Yes looks like it’s been cracked for a while, had recall before harvest to replace same part on other track with up rated one. Have to take track of as is part of main support frame, don’t think it will weld.

Not sure if I’m glad or not that I decided to crawl under the combine and grease the inside of the tracks this morning, at least it’s in the yard!!

Another vote for MER polish, very easy to use, add to water when washing also. Takes a bit of time to polish combine once a year but makes cleaning off much easier.

Kerrin drilled mid feb and took along time to germinate, was a bit worried wouldn’t vernalise but not looking to bad just coming in to ear and getting a T3 tomorrow. Has only had 23mm of rain since planting.
