By deadband do you mean thats it’s possible to alter the degree of slope it doesn’t compensate for?
Our hillmaster always seems to over compensate in fields that are only very slightly sloping - i thiink it adjusts in increments

They should notify you of the claims with the option to have the corn back to your farm before they tip it
They should also only pass on claims if they are truly a merchant
