Hello All. We've been told today by a reputable haulier that the only way we can export Pigs to France is to go through Ireland. Is this correct ? We're just under two hours from Dover so doesn't make economic sense. Anyone have any knowledge Totally gutted as we have a buyer for 50 to 100 .

I know what you mean but my understanding its that as long as you take photos before , during and after completion, there isn't any problem.

Ah yes, its a technicality according to the CSF Officer. He did approve some Tanks . Just we find it strange as he seemed to be saying he couldn't support it as we're too high above the Thames but that applies more to the Grant for concrete rather than Tracks

No - that's the problem he didn't support us whereas RPA said the CSF Officer's report would just be a formality! They said 99% of applications are approved. We must be the sad 😔 1%

You can get a grant for Concrete but again you must demonstrate a need . There's also a Grant for entrances . Its best to go on gov.co.uk and search for RPA Capital Grants option finder

No we're not . We're 100 mtrs from a Conservation area though ! Never heard of a FIPLE . Could you elborate ?

Well obviously we'll have to do that but it is annoying when the Grant is there to help Farmers. According to RPA we met the criteria too !

I'd say we have both of those.
