Yeah this one automatically tensions the bed chains on 4 rams behind the threaded bolts. I’m just trying to gauge if the beds wear out or if they are good as it’s a 2007 machine etc
Evening,
what’s peoples thoughts on Samson flex muck spreaders? Are the floors single skin or double skin as been told it’s a double layer of metal in the floors on these. How do people find them for reliability over other brands etc?
Thanks
I’m just doing my home work as there’s a lot of Deere choppers getting sold round here and there must be a reason for it. Whether it’s price, resale, backup etc etc. I’d like to stick with the krone but the deal jd might put on the table might be too good to say no to but the krone does...
Are you concerned that with them being like pushed to get them in that the trade in value won’t be as good if you want to go back to a claas or krone for example? I’m concerned that the deal to get me out of a krone to a Deere will be good and look better on paper but if I don’t get on with the...
There isn’t any class choppers round here any more. All gone to krone or John Deere. Claas don’t seem to compete on the job here now. Everyone was claas 10 years since and now if there was 20 choppers round here there is only 4 left and one of them has been traded in for a JD 8600 this time.
Afternoon,
How are everyone finding the jd choppers now? Anyone had one and traded it for another brand? Resale value good etc etc? Pricing it all ways round, with krone at the min and would like another but just got to look at all options on the table. jd seem to be taking over the world round...
Anyone running ktwo rodeo curves 2018 upwards, how do you find them on steep banks? Have an older curve on a 2016 on 7 leaf suspension and newer trailers are on 3 leaf so just wondering if they hold their selves on steep ground like the older ones do loaded with silage.
Cheers
Has anyone got a new ktwo trailer 1600 rodeo on the new 3 leaf setup and compared it to the old 7 leaf setup? Ktwo have a new build ready to go in the yard at reasonable money but it’s on the new suspension and our old rodeo is on the 7 leaf but we know that the 7 is fit for our terrain and...
Hi,
So, I bought one from @REStracTORATION and opted for the 1500kg wheel trolley and it is absolutely spot on. Arrived about 2/3 days after I paid and was working straight away. The trolley is well made and can handle the 710/85/38 wheels and tyres no bother and mainly it makes it a one man...
I have just used paint from the dealers, I believe it is just a 1k paint under coat and top coat. The lacquer I have if I want to is a 2k with hardner which I’ve been told is fine to use on a 1k paint. Will the top coat need rubbing down abit with some fine wet and dry or will it be ok to go...
Hi,
Ive had the tractor wheels shot blasted and I’ve painted them but I was wondering whether to lacquer them or not? Not sure if it is a good idea or a bad idea.
Anyone done this to some before?
The tractor isn’t a show tractor so will be used for farm work so don’t know if it’s good for...
We really rate our ktwo on the 6 leaf suspension setup, it doesn’t lean at all no matter what the situation unless it’s wildly over loaded and then won’t tip. I don’t like the single leaf or the 3 leaf setups after using the ktwo. I’d like another ktwo but it’s getting hold of one at decent...
It’s the money with the compactor trailers, I think they are a bloody good trailer and the right way to go really but I can’t justify 35k for a second hand one never mind 45/50 for a new one.
