    Tree fell on fence

Trees & insurance can be a bloody nightmare. Had a large beech tree come down about 12 months ago onto neighbors property (private house with large garden). Beech tree smashed post and rail fence & took out their oak tree. We offered to clear the fallen trees, mend the fence and plant a new oak...

Should a dealer buy back a piece of machinery they sold you

Get a settlement quote from the finance company that currently owns the spread a bale. Find a suitable trailer, trade the spread a bale in against the trailer and take out a new finance agreement for the difference (hopefully not too much) plus the amount of the settlement. New finance company...

    Reversing Cameras?

Just got an Auto Vox W7 pro off Amazon for £99 Black Friday deal. Put it on the pick up to make hitching up to trailer easier. Works well enough. Wired into reversing light so switches on automatically. Did get caught out as the pictures showed two cameras. Only came with one. Double checked and...

    MF electric spools

Sounds like you’re using them correctly. Presuming you have Datatronic, set one half of the the screen to spools and watch the displays. There will be a blue line appear when the spools are operating. If not then there is a problem. They can have “Massey Moments.” Try switching off and pressing...

    MF electric spools

Paddles have different indents. Pull (or push) until there is a small click for timed flow. Pull it part way (so it doesn’t indent) and it will only pump while you hold the paddle. Not available on the joystick as they are only push buttons.

    MF electric spools

MF fitter did a lot of delving with his laptop. It showed a error code (which wasn’t showing on the dash). After several phone calls to Massey tech it was identified as the resistor fault. Next problem was finding the resistor as there is no part number for it (because it’s part of the loom)...

    MF electric spools

Had the same problem with a 7718. Bar steward to identify the problem as it was intermittent. It was eventually traced to a resistor in the main wiring loom (inside right hand console, about 18” from the floor). Resistor not available as a spare part only the complete wiring loom 🥵. Cut out...

I was a student there over 30 years ago! There was an endless belt conveyor to empty the bins which was a sod for slipping and filling the tunnel with grain. Spent up at moment. Might have a lad who is available PM your phone no

    settings for millet

Did millet years ago. As you say set it up for rape to start with, then have a play around. Biggest problem IIRC is cleaning the husk from the seed without blowing everything out the back. Sorry, no idea re the excellerator concave.

Movement licence for a school visit

Thanks for replies. Just want to gauge peoples general thoughts as it’s a bit more complicated. We are hosting a festival / fete type event and the organisers have arranged for a local “petting farm” to bring along some of their animals, goats, sheep, pigs. I have asked for them to do their...
