Finance on a 13 year old tractor

Typically 15 years at end of term is a rule of thumb but in reality most funders are willing to go longer on a decent asset. You shouldn't have a problem if you've got a decent enough credit history.

    Wireless Farm Alarms & Equipment

Given the increased security concerns about wireless equipment, has anyone had any first-hand experience with security such as wireless farm alarms? Do you have any concerns? http://www.wired.com/2014/07/hacking-home-alarms/ http://www.wired.com/2014/08/wireless-car-hack/

    Staines Trailers

@multipower Depends on who the funder is, the asset and what your expectations are around rates. Top tier funders would ideally want a clean history but many funders - even middle tier - would still take a look at the asset type and your current scenario. So long as you are up front and they had...

    Banks

Depends on where you are in the world, in general Handelbanken have made a big move over the last couple of years with a more traditional approach (@Dreaming (y)) have met a bunch of their relationship managers and they are very hands-on. Second place would probably be the boys from Lloyds...

    Hitachi finance-any good?

Hitachi are one of the funders we use, probably sit top end of tier 2 lenders in terms of rates and pretty solid all round. They will take a view on most asset types and underwriters are open to discussion.

    Car contract hire

It's a rarity to get a decent deal on these types of 4x4, especially on BCH as they are not usually seen as a business vehicle. We had some on the Touareg earlier in the year and they get snapped up PDQ. Will post any others I get hold of on here.

    Car contract hire

Merc UK are the only guys that don't include any admin or introducer fee within their pricing, these have to be added up front and include sourcing, brokering and admin fees for each of the multiple touch points. The other manufacturers (that I work with, at least!) include all fees in the...

    Car contract hire

@Lawless not so much a link, more a list that mercedes send over with the spec's in stock and prices - if you have something in mind I can get the figures. I'll put up some of the others that may be of interest though, all are direct from and underwritten by Merc UK. A couple of examples of the...

    Car contract hire

Some very decent deals on the ML at present, Merc have stock to shift. @warksfarmer quite right, Audi are very uncompetitive at the moment, especially on the Q's.

    3000l 24m Bargam Fox sprayer

On the cusp of being something typically financeable being 2006, funders would normally look at up to 15 years at end of term in isolation. Could look at 2 year terms for anyone needing requiring it though (y)
