Yea was tested at the settings mentioned. Which is probably normal just wondered if a softer milking setting would perhaps slow milking times but settle cows.
Recently extended parlour and all computer settings have reset to factory settings. Running a low line 40x40 vacuum at 42 kpi pulsation doing 62 beats at 65/35 ratio. Cows seem unsettled when putting clusters on but not bad when milking. What's your thoughts? What settings you running?
I'll look them up cheers, wondering why Fleming only make up to 13 ft , is it due to bridging or stress because of width weight of steel would need to be more.
Looked at Fleming good leveller but thought for 3ft extra over a straight 10 ft it was a lot to spend . that's why I was looking at 16 ft. Would it work better if outside bits where in float.
I have the same problem to much room for cows to lie any shape they want. These cubicles were great when there was a wall in front or a short bed the cow could lie with her head through adjacent cubicle. I shifted neck rail back but made no difference . I think cubicle needs to be higher from...
Old land leveller has fell to bits beyond repair, thinking of buying 16 ft hydraulic folding , as my ploughing consists of getting it turned over and moving on the field can be left bumpy, usually hit it with power Harrow and leveller before sowing in grass any other options for smooth fields.
Not so sure about drug resistance think it's a load of ball made up by drug companies cause they don't put the goodies in the products they used too. Norbrook rep told me ivermectin only covered for 2 weeks with heavy burden
I had similar problem with calves at grass this summer. Thought it was worm burden as I'd used pour on all summer so injected with dectomax seemed to help but still had bad coughing and out breaks of phenomenon . Treated for fluke cause nothing else worked mixed zanil with meal and fed at trough...
That would make sense I presumed cows just settled into it better with bigger teats and milk flows, still see uneven milking across quarters with some not milking out clean maybe I'm over analysing.
I'm culling out the worst of the kickers because there relentless and can't get kicking bars on...
