Rain through the night and sleety showers this morning but got a start mid afternoon, laurette for malting (🤞) , still raw and colder than we'd like really.
Yeah , gave the bar that works the actuators a good spray in wd40 / chain oil, ( the one running through the black plastic collars ), and freed them off best I could without taking them off.
Seems to have helped anyway , does still occasionally do it.
They're not stopping at pylons and sub stations either . Plans for this have come on the go as well and by the looks of it it's another project that's already planned and ready to go ahead
Wire brush on the grinder and give it a light go over just to get the worst of it off , then soak the boards in a diesel and oil mix , I have a mix of diesel and old ATF oil for this, leave it to soak over night and go back with the wire brush on the grinder in the morning, works ever time...
Just the way I was learnt, I'd have got a bollocking for sowing through the tramline :ROFLMAO:.
We're on 20 metre here and tramline on 3 but sow 4 widths.
4 widths on 28 metres would be alright if he's not putting in an endrig tramline with the drill and putting it in with the sprayer instead, if he is tramlining his endrig with the drill then 5 would be better or the drill will likely be dropping in and sowing where the inside tramline would be.
Would this be any good @Chae1 ? , cut it down to the same width as the graipe , would push the weight out a good bit further at least. Could even add weights to it as well
