    Red Tractor non conformance

They bring nothing to the party, ZERO benefit be it monetary or any other. Just a parasite ably supported by the NFU

    Red Tractor non conformance

I thought they raised the annual fee some 30-40% to cover their loss from AHDB, so ineffect lost £250k but fee rise generated another £500k. They can’t get a premium can they, promised from the outset but never materialised. It’d have to be £5/t to be worthwhile but no one will pay that. Let’s...

    Scrapping farm assurance

Much li Much like bread then, so what’s the point? There isn’t one, just the NFU gravy train protecting its position and others. You are everything that is wrong with the NFU and clearly show why I would never have anything to do with them. You d argue black was white….

    Getting dry

Martin Grantley Smith “moved on” / “retired”

No, am sure a lot of half truths abound from him, skew it any way you want. It’s not like the results were logged by an impartial 3rd party. Just put in whatever suits the agenda, it’s fairly clear that’s how things like this are done.

He seemed to suggest that most of his customers had forward sold 45% of their total projected from what I understood. The trader in question reads this thread so maybe he could explain better

    Scrapping farm assurance

Indeed, a long list. All just jobs for the boys, Auz, Canada and other countries that actually get stuff done don’t sink their industries in unnecessary bureaucracy like the idiots here. I am utterly amazed that we as an industry managed to exist before the arse NFU introduced/forced Red Tractor...

And also limits Russias ability to attack elsewhere!! If Ukraine were on 1.435 this attack would have faltered, the Russians have been using rail for their re supplies/supplies. Ukraine starting to dismantle rail bridges with high explosive

    Scrapping farm assurance

Most of the Ukrainian milling wheat that flies into our mills but then you already know that being an NFU bod who’s organisation burdened us farmers with this nonsense

Chatting to next door today and he was speaking to his trader, reckons that 45% of his customers have already foreword sold 22. Sometimes inaction is beneficial. Next door did some FW @£315/t harvest which I thought cheap re Nov
