Would anyone still happen to have a copy of the dowdeswell user manual/setup guides? Lost my saved copy and can’t find any of the useful guides that used to be on their website now it is defunt. Just put some new boards on and wanting to get it set up nicely but have forgotten where to get...
I have no reason to doubt the waterpump at the moment, the lack of heat issue came with the tractor when we bought it in January this year. Since then it has clocked 5/600hrs of various work without any overheating or excessive temperature on the gauge.
Can you elaborate on any codes I need to...
Got some gremlins in the heater/blower system, 2 main issues. 1st issue no heat. Had a look at the electric heater valve under the seat and seems to be nothing obvious happening when moving the dial between hot and cold, assumed I would hear or feel some kind of movement or noise as the valve...
Thanks for the replys so far. I can get hold of big 47kg propane bottles from my supplier who sorts me out normally with workshop gasses. It’s a farm fans drier I’m looking at so unsure about the requirement for normal propane or lgp, perhaps someone who has one can advise?
As the title suggests-I am looking for some advice on running a drier with propane bottles instead of a bulk tank. Looked at a drier the other day having not had the need for one before. One has come up for sale but I don’t think I’ll have time to organise getting a fixed tank installed. Been...
16.9/28 alliance tyres on the rear of my 50ex were both new in 2019. Probably done around 500 hours, 65% of those will have been in and around yards and sheds so mostly on the hard/concrete. Been impressed with their performance out in the fields loading dung and shifting bales too. Would have...
As a heavy plant/agricultural mechanic, I appreciate a clean machine/in the shed/on concrete etc etc but the thing I look for most when on a job is to be left alone to get on with the job. I find nothing worse than someone leaning over you trying to watch/assist when they don’t really know what...
When I was running an older John Deere combine I was cheaper buying belts from the local dealer. Priced a gates belt from another supplier and they couldn’t come anywhere close to the oem belt cost.
A very local to me machine being sold by a good friend and neighbour. A well maintained machine that’s had a good home on a small farm. Been replaced with a newer belt baler.
No this came from the Dundee area. Don’t get many dominators for advertised for sale in Scotland these days so had to move quick when I got wind of this one.
